Rentals Coming To MLS

2 Comments 30 August 2010

As more and more people look to rentals as a means for housing

On a projected launch date of September 1st, NorthstarMLS plans to add rental listings to the Multiple Listing Service.

What does that mean for consumers?

It means there are going to be a lot of real estate agents that now get into the leasing side of the residential transaction. Most have avoided dealing with people looking for rentals or kind of brushed them off to the side.

The main spot to find rentals for single family homes has been Craigslist for the past 6 plus years, but that could change as brokers and agents can now better serve their clients.
